In this week's issue, we're showcasing the best photographs of this city that we could find. And not just any old photographs, but your photographs. As part of our first London photo competition, you sent in more than 12,000 snaps of the city. Photographer Martin Parr has rifled through the entries and the winners will be revealed in tomorrow's magazine. Plus, we've rounded up ten of the most iconic photos of the city from the last 180 years – from the Central line being built in 1898 to astronaut Tim Peake's snap of the city from the International Space Station earlier this year.
Elsewhere, we speak to four early-rising Londoners (who wake up as early as 3.30am, yikes!), including a photographer, a rower and a nature reserve manager. We also chat to grime artist Kano, pick out the hottest new beef joints in town, and round up the best alternative life-drawing classes – they don't all involve naked people, y'know.
Grab your magazine at your local tube station tomorrow morning, find it at a mainline station or pick it up from one of hundreds of locations across London, or subscribe for 50p a week.
You can also buy this week’s issue from Wednesday on your Apple or Android device, so you can swipe, pinch and scroll through at your leisure.
