It might only be November 2, but it seems like many Londoners are already feeling festive. Thousands of fans braved the misty weather last night to watch Kylie Minogue switch on this year's Oxford Street Christmas lights.
It's the first time the street's been kept traffic-free for the big event. Revellers were treated to performances from Fleur East, Foxes, Gabrielle Aplin and X-Factor winner Ben Haenow before the big button push.
The famous shopping street is now glittering with silver lights and 445 golden baubles, which give the illusion that it's snowing. Or it will, once this thick, gloomy mist disappears.
