Hooray! This weekend's tube strike has been cancelled

Earlier today we shared the news that, due to concerns over safety, members of the RMT union had announced plans for not one, but seven tube strikes over the next few months. Sadly, that tube strike marathon is still going ahead (for now), but it's not all doom and gloom because the RMT were also planning a tube strike for this weekend over disputes around the non-existent night tube. But guess what? They've just cancelled it, which means you can enjoy your weekend without wondering how the hell you're going to get anywhere. Phew.

Speaking of the night tube, it could finally be about to get the green light.
