Not content with recently creating a walk-in cocktail cloud and the world's longest tasting menu, those wacky folks at Bompas & Parr are now hosting an evening of fortune telling through the medium of, er, food. Forget tarot cards and crystal balls, because on August 24, Sam Bompas will be giving a practical talk on all manner of fortune-telling rituals including rubbing raw egg on your body and inspecting animal entrails – although not at the same time (as if that makes it any less bizarre).

After the talk, artist Cibelle Cavalli Bastos will be performing as her alter-ego Sonja Khalecallon and conducting one-on-one therapeutic sessions, readings and group meditations. The organisers promise that you'll leave the evening feeling 'cleansed and inspired' but if not, at least you'll have found a new way to use up eggs.

Find out more and get tickets here.

'Gut Feelings' is at The Print Is Dead Library at the The Punch Room of The London Edition Hotel, 10 Berners Street, W1T 3NP. August 24, 7pm. £5.
