[title]
Forget staying in and watching scary movies this Halloween. If you want to be really spooked, there are plenty of scary sights to take in on the streets of London - and we're not just talking about the cost of a pint.
From October 28 to October 31, you can go on a 45-minute ‘scare walk’ around London’s #gothicmidtown - the area spanning Holborn, Bloomsbury and St Giles - hosted by spirit medium Derek Acorah (yep, that guy off ‘Most Haunted’). He’ll be giving you the lowdown on local ghost sightings and paranormal activity, as well as all the gory details on where, when and how people have met their maker in the area.
If you need something to calm your nerves after all that talk of ghouls and ghosts, the tour will end at a gothic-Victorian themed pop-up bar in the abandoned corridors of the old Central St. Martins building where you can grab yourself a stiff drink. As well as sipping on spooky cocktails, you can also have a tarot reading or - if you’re feeling really brave - have a go on a ouija board. Who needs 'Nightmare on Elm Street'?
Book tickets for the Scare Walk.
The meeting place for the scare walk is at The Gate at Lincoln's Inn Fields by Remnant Street, WC2A 3JX.
The pop-up bar is at The College, Old Central St Martins building, Southampton Row, WC1B 4AP
