As well as eating your own body weight in turkey and glugging your way through litres of mulled wine, Christmas is all about slobbing out and watching as many festive films as possible. To give you a head start on the big day, Underground Film Club is screening a whole bunch of classic Christmas films throughout December. They've turned Waterloo's underground railway tunnels into a cosy cinema with velvet seats, where you can warm your cockles with buttered rum and spiced hot toddy cocktails and stuff your face with far superior movie snacks from Mark Hix and Hawksmoor's Richard Sandiford. Expect old favourites including 'It's a Wonderful Life' and 'Die Hard', as well as Will Ferrell doing his thing in 'Elf', Christmas schmaltz in 'The Holiday' - and yes, a double bill of 'Home Alone'. Book your tickets now, ya filthy animals!
Underground Film Club is at The Vaults, Launcelot Street, SE1 7AD.
Get tickets from today (November 6) at 9am.
Or get cosy at pillow cinema's new season at Sutton House in Hackney.
