Bird in Shoreditch has been a massive hit with the fried chicken-lovin' folk of east London since it opened last year, and now they're heading north to open a second branch in Islington. To celebrate the launch, they're offering 50 percent off all food between October 1-7, which gives you plenty of time to try out some new additions to the menu including 'The Nashville Hot' with a cayenne pepper glaze and 'The Gee Gee', a Korean-inspired sweet and spicy chicken burger served with kimchi slaw. And for the fried chicken purists, they'll be serving up their mega-popular crispy glazed wings and fried chicken waffle burger. If you've still got room for dessert, they've also got a doughnut hatch where you can grab a freshly baked doughnut covered in a peanut butter glaze – y'know, just to round out that balanced meal.
