Right, noodle fans, listen up. Or rather, get yourself to Dalston’s L’Atelier café, pronto – because peripatetic Singaporean/Malaysian noodle-peddler London Laksa is settling in for a two-month residency (maybe longer, apparently). That’s great news, obvs, but here’s the kicker: on Friday May 26 and Saturday May 27 it will be knocking 50 percent off all food for a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it soft launch! GET IN.

London Laksa has been plying its spicy trade across town for a while now, appearing at street food spots like Chatsworth Road Market, London Fields’ Schoolyard Market, Maltby Street and so on. Laksa, for the uninitiated, is a vermicelli-filled broth with either a coconut or tamarind base. London Laksa will be hawking a few varieties for this residency: Singapore (coconut broth with chicken, prawns, fish balls, fried tofu, mint, onion, beansprouts and sambal), Prawn (same minus the chicken and fish balls) and Assam (tamarind broth with mackerel and prawn plus the aforementioned garnishes). As if that wasn’t enough, there’ll also be coconut-crusted fried chicken and an ace-sounding drinks list that includes a host of kombucha (fermented tea) cocktails. Sounds good? Yes. Yes, it does.

London Laksa will be at L’Atelier, 31 Stoke Newington Rd, N16 8BJ, from Friday May 26. There’s 50 percent off food on Friday May 26 and Saturday May 27.

Okay, it's a different kind of noodle soup, but get your fill with out list of London’s best ramen.
