Buon giorno! On Monday June 5, Campari is making Londoners an offer they can’t refuse. To celebrate Negroni Week, some of London’s best bars will be offering free booze to those brave enough to address their barkeep in Italian.

To signal the start of the week-long, red-booze-soaked celebrations, those who greet participating bars with the phrase ‘e l’ora del Campari’ (which translates as ‘it’s time for Campari’, but you already knew that, right?) on Monday will be rewarded with a negroni cocktail.

Although drinks are limited to one per person per bar (and for the first 50 at each bar), we could see this being quite the bar crawl, with the following bars taking part in the fun:

100 Hoxton, Hoxton

Bungatini, Covent Garden

Café Monico, Piccadilly Circus

Cahoots, Soho

High Water, Dalston

Original Sin, Stoke Newington

Pizza Pilgrims, West India Quay

Polpo at Ape & Bird, Leicester Square

The Ten Bells, Spitalfields

Victory Mansion, Stoke Newington

And we reckon your ropey Italian will just keep on getting better as you make your way around town on Monday night. In bocca al lupo, mate!
