Photography fans, you’re going to need a bib, because the most drool-worthy show you can imagine has just been announced. German fine art and fashion photographer Juergen Teller is going to be curating an exhibition of photographs by the late great Robert Mapplethorpe at Alison Jacques gallery in November. Yeah, Teller + Mapplethorpe = photo perfection.
The show will mark what would have been Mapplethorpe’s seventieth birthday and will include silver gelatin prints, Polaroids of the beautiful and famous and tons of other works that may or may not have been exhibited before. See? Droooool.
