It wasn’t so long ago that rainbow bagels were taking London’s bakeries – and Instagram – by stranglehold. But get ready for the next colourful invasion, because rainbow croissants have just arrived in the capital.

Get your multi-coloured fix at Hotel Café Royal in Piccadilly Circus, where executive pastry chef Sarah Barber has been playing around with buttery dough in a wonderful way. Here’s a collection of the colourful pastries recently added to the brekkie menu.

These bright and not-very-French-looking creations are fruity twists on the classic pastry, shot through with mango, passionfruit, amarena cherry and pistachio flavours. Bonjour!
