A renegade soundsystem is planning to cover Parliament Hill with flags of the world at their annual free party from 2pm on July 24. The Dig It Sound System regularly pops up at free parties, street parties and community events, bringing positive carnival vibes on three wheels – it runs on a tricycle, pedalled by a crew of DJs.

Co-founder and DJ Danny C is calling for people to bring a flag from their country of origin or where their ancestors come from and a drink or dish to share. It’s one of many initiatives taking place across London as the city fights the Brexit blues.

Danny C said: 'We want to use the event to celebrate the brilliant, beautiful cultural diversity of our amazing city, and celebrate how essentially sharing London with people of all creeds, faiths, walks of life, countries etc. makes it the amazing place it is!'

Flag up, dish up and follow the sound of reggae, rare groove, hip hop, soul and classic house on Parliament Hill!
