Ever since Tottenham Hale Lidl closed three months ago, the people of Tottenham have been sad. There's been no cheese twists, car jacks, deli meats or cheap prosecco to warm their cockles for nearly a quarter of the year. But, today, that all changes. A new Lidl is opening in the retail park!
To celebrate, community events space Styx is holding a Lidl-themed party. There will be free mulled wine and pastries for Lidl staff. There'll be a speech from Lidl ambassador Eurik Von Horton. There'll even by a performance of 2007 viral hit 'One Day I went to Lidl' by Afrikan Boy.
Most importantly: there's a 10p raffle and Lidl logo pizzas available for guests. Head down to the party between 6pm and 11pm for a Lidl fun.
