Fancy a cuppa? Get free tea delivered to your door this afternoon

Lazy tea lovers, rejoice: from 2pm to 5pm today you can get free tea delivered to your door.

A partnership between Yorkshire Tea and Deliveroo called, brilliantly, Deliverbrew, this life-changing service is available for three hours only this afternoon. As part of the first tea-only delivery service in the UK (how have we survived without it?), teas will be made by ‘expertly trained’ tea specialists, which they’re calling ‘brewistas’. To get yours, go to the Deliveroo website or open up the app and select ‘Yorkshire Tea Deliverbrew’, using the code PROPER.

But forget the tea for a second. The weirdest thing about this offer is that the freebies are being delivered on bicycles by Olympic triathletes Alistair and Jonny Brownlee. A London- and Leeds-only offer, the brothers will be based in different cities and competing in teams to see who can deliver the most tea in one day. Can’t decide whether we’re more excited about the tea or the chance of seeing one of those brothers in Lycra.
