Emma Watson is interviewing for a job of a lifetime in the first trailer for 'The Circle', a sci-fi movie based on David Egger's novel of the same name.
The former Harry Potter star is Mae Holland, an ambitious college grad who bags a job at a powerful tech firm called, you guessed it, The Circle.
It's all state of the art gadgets and work perks on a green, sunny campus. Mae quickly rises through the ranks. But her dream job soon turns into more of a living nightmare...
The ethos of The Circle? 'Sharing is caring'. And that sharing is done through a tiny camera, which looks a like a creepy glass eye and screens real-time video of everyone's daily lives.
'We will see it all,' says Tom Hanks, who stars as Bailey, one of the company's leaders. 'I am a believer in the perfectibility of human beings. At The Circle there isn't a problem that we cannot solve. Without secrets we can finally realise our potential.'
A nice idea, perhaps. But it's fair to assume it's not as simple as that...
Former 'Doctor Who' companion Karen Gillian also stars as Mae's best friend, colleague and former college roommate Annie, while 'Star Wars' actor John Boyega plays Kalden, a mysterious man Mae meets at work, and Ellar Coltrane, who you might recognise from 'Boyhood', stars as ex-boyfriend Mercer.

'The Circle' is yet to have a UK release date.
