With Christmas barely a month away, this is your chance to get the party started as Time Out launches 18 exclusive nights of Christmas movie screenings at Lost Rivers Elephant in Elephant and Castle this Thursday.
This amazing pop-up venue in south London is being transformed into a Christmas movie fan’s festive dream for five nights a week from Thursday November 23 to Saturday December 16. There’ll be movies, there’ll be beautiful decorations and even live cabaret after every screening.
Each night you’ll be able to catch a different movie – including ‘Home Alone’, ‘Love Actually’, ‘Jingle All The Way’ and ‘National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation’ – and each night the film will be followed by a performance from acts including Little Gay Brother, Marawa’s Majorettes, Lord Hicks, Family Fierce and Sleaze.
And that’s not all – there will be festive food and drinks available all evening. At the opening-night screening of ‘Home Alone’ on Thursday we’ll be unveiling some seriously Insta-worthy Christmas decorations, specially designed and made for the cinema.
All you have to do now is pick one or more of the 11 Christmas movies showing between now and December 16, and persuade all your friends to join you at this unique Christmas film experience.
