Eight cute photos of Londoners and their rescue pets

You'd like to think everyone knows by now that a dog is for life, not just for Christmas (or any other festive period, for that matter). But despite this, many animals in London are abandoned or mistreated and end up in rescue homes. But it's not all doom and gloom, as plenty of Londoners are giving these cute little animals new homes. London-based photographer Alex De Mora has photographed a series of Londoners with their rescue pets, from cats to cockroaches, because even creepy crawlies need to be loved.
