Easter weekend travel: TfL is partly suspending five tube and rail lines

It's four-day weekend time (yay!), and TfL has decided to use this precious time to carry out engineering works, which means a whole lotta disrupted services (boo!). But don't panic, we've rounded up this weekend's planned engineering works so you don't get caught out. Here's what you need to know:

London Overground

Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday: No service between Camden Road and Stratford.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday: No service between Sydenham and Crystal Palace, or between Highbury & Islington and Shadwell.

Sunday and Monday: No service between Romford and Upminster.

Sunday: No service between Gospel Oak and Barking until noon.

Hammersmith & City line

Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday: No service between Liverpool Street and Barking.

District line

Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday: No service between Aldgate East and Dagenham East.

Metropolitan line

Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday: No service between Moor Park and Amersham/Chesham.

TfL rail

Friday and Saturday: No service Gidea Park to Shenfield.

Sunday and Monday: No service Liverpool Street to Shenfield.

Sunday:nNo trains between Shenfield and Ilford until 8am.
