Did you know London has its very own ‘Bake Off’ tent?

‘The Great British Bake Off’ is back on our screens. And, while the TV show has changed channel and presenters, its warm, moreish vibe is as inspiring as ever. Tempted to get baking yourself? This is a reminder that London has its very own ‘Bake Off’ competition tent – featuring a TV-style set and challenges just like on the telly.

The Big London Bake Off at The Castle pub in Tooting is running until December in a marquee that looks just like the ‘Bake Off’ tent. The marquee has 10 stations where teams of two have just 90 minutes to whip up a creation using the ingredients provided. They’ve done lemon meringue pies and chocolate cakes recently. (You can even book out the whole tent for a stag, hen or birthday!)
