Having successfully conquered east London, the folks behind crazy golf course Plonk are making their first foray into the south with a brand new nine-hole course at Brixton's Duke of Edinburgh pub. The course has been plonked down in the pub's beer garden, but you won't have to worry about getting chilly as the whole thing is enclosed in a heated marquee. Phew.
Raise a glass to your hole-in-one (or commiserate your terrible performance) with fruity cocktails and Hawaiian beers at the cocktail hut – and get some much-needed sustenance courtesy of The Cornwall Project, who are providing a daily-changing food menu and a barbecue pit on weekends. The Tiki-themed course has been decked out with totem poles, giant smoking volcanoes and tropical plants – so at least it'll feel summery, even if it is zero degrees outside.
Plonk is at The Duke of Edinburgh, 204 Ferndale Rd, SW9 8AG. Tuesday-Sunday, 4pm-11pm. £7.50 per player.
