City envy: we want New York's high-tech buses

So, after approximately 1 million years, TfL has finally announced a provisional date for the night tube. Excuse us while we spontaneously break into a sarcastic slow handclap, not least because New York's been doing the 24-hour tube thing literally since 1904. Those pioneering Statesiders have just gone and bested us when it comes to buses too, with the announcement of a fleet of new super-vehicles.

Set to roll out in April, they'll be kitted out with the two things essential to human survival: free wi-fi and USB charging ports. They'll even have fancy LCD screens to keep passengers updated on travel information, the weather and Donald Trump's latest tonsorial abomination (possibly). We've even heard rumours that these badboys will have windows that actually open. And that's a future we can all get behind.

We also want a high-rise slide like LA and a cheese delivery service like Paris.
