A 'rotational concept bar' should not be confused with a bar that merely rotates like the BT Tower. Or, indeed, a bar where the concept is rotation and patrons have to neck pints while spinning on the spot (that's unlikely to end well). It's a bar that changes its entire concept on a regular basis, and Leeds is home to the UK's very first. The Hedonist Project, which started life as a series of pop-ups, has just got a permanent location in the city centre. Its first incarnation is called The Liquor Store & Whisky Parlour: visitors will be able to choose from more than 60 scotches, as well as a plethora of yummy whisky cocktails. In a mere three months, the bar will change not only its poison of choice but its entire food menu, decor and background music. Surely just the thing for London's jaded boozers?
