Soho gets slicker all the time, but there’s still something charmingly untouched about Chinatown. Well, all that’s about to change with the launch of Central Cross – a 48,000 sq ft food and retail development due to launch late this spring. Set at the Eastern gateway to Chinatown, Central Cross will feature seven new restaurants promising a mix of new Chinese and East Asian cuisines. Three of those restaurants will have outside seating – a first for Chinatown – and there are even plans to pedestrianise Newport Place. Dumplings in the sun, anyone?

Central Cross is due to open in late Spring 2017.
