Feeling a bit bloated after a three-day weekend of boozing, eating and not much else? Spare a thought for poor folks who live in Brent. The north west London borough has just been named the 'fat capital' of the city.

Figures from the Health and Social Care Information Centre show that last year, 3,015 medical appointments in the borough were about obesity. The area also had 940 hospital admissions per 100,000 people for obesity related problems, which is above the national average of 811.

But don't feel bad, people of Brent. Things are way worse up north in the Wirral, which was pronounced Britain's 'fat capital' with 9,286 appointments about obesity last year.

In other news, London isn't the most stressed city in the UK!
