A lot has changed since the launch of the Boris Bike back in 2010. Boris isn't mayor anymore, for a start, and they're now sponsored by Santander rather than Barclays – but does anyone really call them Santander Cycles?

Either way, those bulky bikes have been around for six years and TfL is offering free rides this weekend to celebrate. All you have to do is enter the code 'FREE2016' on the Santander Cycles app or docking station terminal on August 13 or 14, and you'll get 24 hours of free bike access, during which time you can take as many sub-30 minute rides as you like for nothing. On yer bike!
