If you're already running low on Christmas cheer and your festive spirit is more Satan than Santa, but you still want to decorate your living room, we've got just the thing. Bin the tinsel and get yourself down to the Think Ink Pines shop to pick up the ultimate seasonal Scrooge accessory: a black Christmas tree. A real black Christmas tree. How's it done? The clue's in the name of the shop: they take real trees and dye them with squid ink to give the natural green needles a dramatic gothic makeover. You'll find other festive foliage in store, including black mistletoe, wreaths, poinsettias and holly, to complete your darkling decor. The pop-up is sponsored by Kraken Black Spiced Rum (which explains the ink and the creepy diver in the photo) so you can drown those December blues in specially created cocktails while picking out your tree. Decorate with the skulls of tiny animals for the ultimate emo Xmas (listening to Marilyn Manson while you open your presents optional).

Think Ink Pines is open Dec 9-13 at 186 Hackney Rd, E2 7QL. Trees from £15 to £50.
