Bao burgers, a mulled wine festival and German food in a gym: it's LondOntheInside’s tips for November

Advertising

Our mates at LondOntheInside have rounded up five things they’re pretty damn excited about this month.

Pho & Bun, Shaftesbury, opens Nov 3

We love Vietnamese food and who doesn't love a burger? So what happens when you combine the two? Well you get a burger served in a bao bun. Does it taste good? Who knows, but we can bet you one thing, we'll be there to try it.

Kurt Vile, Electric Ballroom, Nov 12

Kurt Vile is back in London Town and you better b'lieve we're goin' down. In support of his new album, KV is taking on Camden's Electric Ballroom, which will be awash with a psychedelic haze and dreamscapes. Shuffled in between folk and straight up rock, you can't go wrong. We're a little obsessed with this guy. You should find out why...

German Gymnasium, King's Cross, Opens Nov 12

From now on we're gonna start spending a lot more time in the gymnasium, but don't worry – we haven't gone fitness crazy. Oh no, this gym has been converted into a huge all-day dining venue serving everything from German sausages to Kaffee and Kuchen – that's coffee and cake. We'll certainly be dropping a few pounds (on the bar) in here.

Mulled Wine Festival, Covent Garden, Nov 12–14

It's beginning to look a lot like... you know the drill – and one of our favourite things about the season is the mulled wine. We'll be hot-footing it down to this three-day festival to gorge on mulled wine, mulled cider, mulled candy and even mulled ice cream. Well it is THAT time of year.

The Stylist's Rail, The Hoxton, Nov 28

After a short break, The Stylist's Rail is back and it's celebrating its third birthday with a huge sale of designer bargains from the wardrobes of the best stylists and bloggers in the city. There's also free cake and cocktails, too.
