Here at Time Out, we’re all about celebrating the important achievements in life. That’s why we’re trying to find the person with the oldest festival wristband in the world on their wrist.

Those little pieces of fabric hold huge amounts of sentimental value and we’d love to hear your stories about why you decided to keep them on. Maybe you’re still wearing a Bestival wristband from five years ago because it was your first festival. Maybe you’ve been sporting a Glastonbury wristband from the ‘90s because you got engaged there. Maybe you’re still wearing the Leeds wristbands from every year since 2008 simply because you’re a hoarder. Whatever your reasons – we want to hear from you!

Either let us know about your wristband on Facebook or Twitter, or send an email to katelloyd@timeout.com with a picture of the band and the story behind it. The champion will feature in our festival coverage in the next few months, and will generally be granted all-round legend status.
