National Orgasm Day comes but once a year – on July 31 to be precise – and there are various ways you can 'celebrate' without leaving the house. However, if you'd rather venture out for a 'little death', book yourself a hot spot at Aphrodisishack supper club. Not your average dinner party, it's being organised by online intimate toy retailer Bondara and so all food will be paired with different sex toys (not physically, we hope). As far as we can tell, you won't be expected to use said toys during dinner (butt plugs and bagels anyone?), instead they'll be serving up dishy dishes designed to get your pulse racing and then you get to take home a goody bag of toys for, err, dessert.

Chef Pratap Chahal aka The Hungry Chef has designed a menu featuring lesser known aphrodisiac ingredients including sheep’s testicles (pictured above), Spanish fly, modern cockle bread (a seventeenth-century bread kneaded with ladies' 'bits' to give to a lover as a charm) and leafcutter ants (pictured on the tart below). Although that all sounds more gross out than G-spot, they promise that it'll be a 'culinary delight', with a surprise dish to give diners a 'theatrical buzz in more ways than one'. Vibrator Viennetta, anyone?

Tickets cost £30 (which includes a welcome drink, six courses and that goody bag) and it's all happening at a secret north London location – hopefully with padded walls for all those 'When Harry Met Sally...' moments.

Guests can register for the exclusive tickets, priced at £30 per head, through the website and on a first-come (ahem) first-served basis.
