A plumbing firm in Lambeth has still got its £70,000 Christmas display up

Ah Christmas, all those glorious days spent slobbing out in front of the TV, eating entire boxes of Quality Street and drinking all things mulled - seems like ages ago, doesn't it? But there's an unlikely spot in Lambeth where the Christmas spirit lives on. A plumbing firm on Sail Street has yet to take down its Christmas display and it's starting to seriously irk locals. Dwain Coleman, a trader at Borough Market, said: 'Londoners can only tolerate a limited amount of cheerfulness and this is just taking the biscuit.'

Although, we aren't just talking about a few bits of tinsel and some fairy lights. Pimlico Plumbers spent some serious cash on its £70,000 Christmas display, which even had an official switch-on ceremony with Lisa Snowdon doing the honours. Who knew plumbers were so fanatical about the festive season?
