Having a bad day? Spare a thought for the poor sod whose car has been swallowed up by a giant sinkhole that appeared overnight. The seven-seater Vauxhall Zafira was parked outside St Thomas' Church on Woodland Terrace in Greenwich when a huge sinkhole opened up in the wee hours of this morning. Local Jamie Thornton, who spotted the hole on his journey to work, said: 'I do hope it isn’t a portal to hell and the apocalypse is coming.' Let's not get hysterical now, eh?
