50 hot air balloons will be floating over London this Sunday

After a few false starts, The RICOH Lord Mayor’s Appeal Hot Air Balloon Regatta will take flight over London this Sunday (June 19).

Up to 50 hot air balloons will be taking off shortly before 5am from Burgess Park, south London, then floating north-east over Tower Bridge and towards Romford.

And although the weather has been rather dull of late, daybreak tomorrow is expected to fine and bright – so you might be in for quite a sight. Here's a glimpse of last year's balloon event:
