21 Instagrams that prove the Oxford Street Christmas lights look better switched off

Christmas is still a good two months away but the Oxford Street Christmas lights have already arrived. The white globes are hanging along the length of the central London shopping mecca, ready to be lit up on November 1. While we're excited about them looking twinkly and festive, we have to admit that they actually look pretty cool at the moment too. Photographed against the sky they look like a space-inspired art installation rather than just decorations. We're into it.
