Christmas is well and truly over – you’ve eaten your fill of mince pies, spent January 1 nursing a horrific hangover that made you seriously consider doing dry January (until you reclaimed your sanity the next day, obviously) and spent a week back at work where you wanted to just crawl under your desk and hibernate.

But now what? You need something to look forward to in order to get through the most depressing month of the year. Sure, London’s great and everything but it’s kind of lacking in sun around now. Basically, you need a holiday, because – as Madonna once said – ‘it would be so nice’.
