Back in the '70s and '80s, students and artists settled in London's abandoned buildings until they were able to afford the city's high rent. Photographer Mark Cawson (Smiler) was one of these squatters. While studying at Hornsey College of Art, he spent his downtime documenting his life sofa-hopping through the city. The photos he took are on now display at the Institute of Contemporary Art until November 29. There's also an accompanying book with writing by Neal Brown.
