The Star of Bethnal Green

Dating back to 1810 and originally known as The White Hart, this quirky little East End boozer was refurbished in 2008 and reopened as the flagship venue of the Electric Star Group (which now includes the Star of Kings, the Star by Hackney Downs, the Leyton Star and the recently opened Star by Liverpool Street.) It has since established itself as one of east London’s best-loved locals, and is known for its ever-popular private karaoke rooms, street food residencies and a lively events programme encompassing everything from drag brunch to DJ nights featuring local lad Idris Elba on the decks.
