This pub and kitchen in Houndsditch opened in September 2016 but it's been dressed up to look like it's been there for years. That means Chesterfield banquettes, promotional mirrors from yesteryear and Victorian imagery on the walls. But don't worry, there's plenty of exposed lighting and brickwork, too.
Food options range from barbecue wings, salt and pepper squid and mezze boards to burgers, sandwiches, subs, truffled mac n cheese and a range of hand-stretched, stone-baked pizzas. Drinks wise it's wines from worlds old and new, recognisable cocktails and real ale, on draught and by the bottle.
Keep an eye out for deals on both booze and food.
