A long-term fixture on Exmouth Market’s pretty, pedestrianised stretch, The Exmouth Arms has been a good pub for much longer than London has had a serious thing for craft beer, so gold star to it for updating its taps and filling its cellar with a top-notch collection of kegs, casks and bottles. Often nearly full of local workers and residents having a good chat, this is a great pub for enjoying a high-quality pint without worrying about that mate who still insists on ordering fizzy cider (there’s a nod to mainstream and non-beer needs too). A seafood-heavy food menu offers cajun catfish sliders, Scottish five-pepper squid and truly tempting crab fries.
