This is a party bar for party people: simple as that. The laconic Aussie staff serve a regular clientele, captured and framed in Polaroids on the walls, who gather in a pub-like interior to get merry on two-fer cocktails and forget that work will ever happen again.
The drinks list, prefaced by a neat logo also available across a T-shirt (£15), features more than 50 concoctions, all in the £7 range. With Makers Mark bourbon used in the Rock Star and Brugal rum in the mojitos, the drinkers here are taking in some quality produce.
An undemanding rock soundtrack provides a backdrop for the chat-up banter; a small square of garden hosts smokers and move-to-second-base intimacy.
