St Patrick’s Day at Big Penny Social

Massive Walthamstow beer hall the Big Penny Social is again promising a craic-ing good time at its annual St Paddy’s Day Party, which this year takes place on the Saturday night ahead of the big day. A fresh brew of Big Penny Social Stout will be served up straight from the tank on a dedicated Stout Bar, alongside plenty of Baby Guinness shots and Irish Old Fashioned cocktails, plus traditional Irish coddle to line your stomach and all the Tayto crisps you heart desires. Entertainment comes from trad band Kilcullen, who’ll be blasting Irish bangers while dancers from the Maggie O'Shea Dance Academy  impress punters with their fast footwork. And afterwards, DJs will be spinning tunes until 1am (we dare you to request a bit of Jedward.) After a more family-friendly celebration? Head down on Sunday afternoon for a family ceilidh instead.
