A traditional pub serving the local Barnet community with a clutch of real ales, such as McMullen Cask and Hertford Castle, as well plenty of bottled beers and ciders. The Bistro serves up freshly prepared dishes, such as ribeye steak with hand-cut chips, or chicken with sherry, tarragon and cream sauce. There's always a 'gourmet vegetarian' dish too. Weekend brunch runs until 2.30pm on Saturday (1pm Sunday) for those who prefer their English breakfast at around lunchtime.
