Time Out says

CAMRA district awards greet the visitor at this high-ceilinged Young’s pub tucked behind the Bayswater Road. A large bar dominates the L-shaped wooden interior, upon which taps of Erdinger, Kirin Ichiban, Peroni, Heineken and Wells Bombardier accompany those of the usual Young’s range; wines include a more-than-decent shiraz and malbec.

The food is a little more imaginative than that offered at many of the Mitre’s stablemates: venison burgers, for example, along with spicy potato skins in the bar-snacks category. Above the fireplace runs the Latin motto Audere est facere; whether or not the owners, staff and locals are Spurs fans, there’s plenty of football banter around the bar
