This vibrant street-food market is a new arrival from a brand with decent pedigree: they’ve got other locations in Vauxhall, Hounslow and Harrow – plus another one due to open in Liverpool, too.
It’s a slick operation that looks the part with foliage draped across an industrial vibe. Plus it’s got proper seating, four walls and a roof, which means it’s definitely one of the new wave of food markets, rather than those whose charm came from digging into your dinner roadside. (We still like those, btw.)
The vendors are good, and the choice on offer solid. Krapow does some great wings and chicken burgers (including one with a Thai twist), there are katsu curries and bao at Little Tokyo, tacos from Los Tacos, and some seriously good donuts from DumDum. Our pick of the bunch, though? Baba G’s Bhangra Burgers. Awesome.

On 23rd Dec, craft workshops include bauble decorating and tree painting (1-2pm). Vauxhall also has festive dishes and drinks.
Market Place venues feature bottomless brunches, happy hours, and Sky Sports/TNT screenings. Sundays at Peckham are popular with £4 pints, football, and pool tables for £2 a game.
