Time Out says

This Enfield establishment is named after another gaff down the road, which was turned into a Waitrose. But the dragon still roars, as the quirky micropub was named CAMRA’s Pub of the Year for 2024. No wonder: here you’ll find old-fashioned pub games such as table skittles and shove ha’penny, plus comfy seating and a good selection of bar snacks (including a bombay mix that’ll have you breathing fire). Of course, CAMRA is most interested in the beer, which is locally sourced, on regular rotation and always interesting. Well worth spreading your wings for.

What’s nearby?

The Little Green Dragon is located at the far end of the six-mile-long Green Lanes, so you’re well-connected to the main drag – known specifically as Harringay Green Lanes – and therefore some of the best Turkish restaurants in London.

Time Out tip

Keep an eye out for the pub’s regular live events, with an emphasis on acoustic performances that make the most of the intimate setting.

RECOMMENDED: The best breweries and taprooms in London.
