Time Out says

One of the few surviving timber-framed buildings of the Great Fire of London, this was originally a private house during the fire but became the Hops and Grapes in the 1890s, getting its name because it sold both wine and beer, before evolving into the name it has today. It has a fine selection of beers, ales, wines and food.
