After a recent facelift, this central Soho institution is hoping to welcome even more punters to its countless themed nights. The illustrated ceiling, video screens above the bar and mismatched seating make for a scruffy chic look, although the adjacent Boudoir bar is plusher, more ornate and – with its sawn-off baths as seating and bidets as tables – rather more eccentric. Happy hours, a late licence, resident DJ and a extensive bar food menu are pluses.
