Family history event based on the popular BBC series, which offers the chance to trace your family history or gain an insight into your ancestors' lives by exploring family, local, social and military history. Celebrities from the TV series including Gregg Wallace, Samantha Womack, William Roche and John Barnes talk about their experiences of making programmes exploring their family histories. Eric Knowles is the on-site 'Heirloom Detective' and new for this year is a focus on immigration and emigration with advice on tracing your family history in other countries.
