One of the biggest green spaces in Redbridge, this park is beloved by locals and sits in the shadow of the beautiful 300-year-old Valentines Mansion. Its remarkable biodiversity, thanks to its tapestry of environments including a historic tree collection, wetlands, a large lake and spring and summer flowering meadows, have awarded it Grade I and II listed status and a place in English Heritage’s Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest. You’ll also find an outdoor gym, 26 free tennis courts and pretty ornamental gardens. It’s also said to be the subject of the Small Faces’ hit ‘Itchycoo Park’.
