This tiny thoroughfare holds a true hidden gem in the heart of the city. 1996 Turner Prize nominee Simon Patterson’s permanent art installation reflects the history of the city and the influence of the tide on the Thames. Stroll along the street and you’ll see a series of playful lists embedded into the pavement as well as giant six-metre-tall illuminated panels covered with photographs of moonscapes.
