London Literature Festival 2013: Contemplating the Honey Bee

Children get a chance to learn about the vital work of bees with artist Amy Shelton and beekeeper Steve Benbow at this family event. Exploring the connection between bee health and human health, the pair will talk about the wildlife bees love, how keepers look after beehives and the dangers the buzzing creatures face. Children will also make a beeswax-coated artwork.All children must be accompanied by an adult. Ages 6+.
